A 16-year-old boy has been found guilty of attempted murder after another teenage boy was discovered partially hidden under a bush with multiple injuries. The victim, also 16 years old, was found in the grounds of William Stukeley Church of England Primary School, Holbeach on Sunday, July 28, 2024.
On the return to take the victim home, the teenager had called another friend. It was heard in court that the call took a sinister turn, and the defendant repeatedly said he was planning to kill the unconscious teen. The boy had lacerations to his neck and abdomen, inflicted by the defendant using a broken bottle. He had also suffered a haemorrhage in the left eye and fractured eye socket.
