David and Celia Barlow had travelled to Uganda for their honeymoon
A British couple have been tragically killed on their honeymoon in Uganda. David and Celia Barlow had travelled to the East African country to celebrate their marriage when they were attacked by a terror group linked to ISIS.
The statement went on: "He was at the time this incident occurred with the most important person in his life, a woman who we all knew so well, as Dave was so proud to share all of Celia's achievements. She too was an amazing human being, who will be desperately missed. Lord Barlow as we fondly know him by will be with us forever. The entire club's thoughts and prayers are with Dave and Celia's families right now.
The Foreign Office has been in touch with the family of a British national involved in the incident. A spokesperson told the Mirror: "We are providing consular assistance to the family of a British national following an incident at Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda. We are in close contact with the local authorities. British nationals in the area should follow our travel advice and contact us if they require assistance.
