Investigation work is ongoing at the scene on Cromwell Road
A 'cyclist' was killed after reportedly being 'struck by a lorry' on a main road in Salford on Thursday . Police, paramedics and fire crews descended on Cromwell Road after the major collision, at the junction with Langley Road South at around 4pm.
Further details about the incident and the gender of the person involved in the horror crash have not yet been confirmed by police. The investigation is currently being led by GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit . Cromwell Road remained taped off in both directions into the evening between Lissadel Street and Littleton Road, with Langley Road South also cordoned off.
