Australian Police have enacted an exclusion zone in Cairns City after a helicopter crashed into the top of a hotel.
A helicopter has smashed into the roof of a hotel in Cairns City, leading to massive evacuations in the vicinity.
Emergency services were alerted to the crash site at the Esplanade on the city's eastern side at 1:50am local time on Sunday morning. The public has been urged to steer clear of the area while authorities conduct their probe into the incident.
