The body of a teenager has been found on a busy highway in Victoria as authorities investigate how he came to be there.
The horrific discovery of the body of a teenage boy on a freeway in Victoria has sparked an investigation as police attempt to piece together what happened.
Emergency services rushed to Princes Freeway about 3.15am on Friday after receiving reports of an injured person on the road. "It is unclear how the teenager came to be on the road and police are investigating if he may have fallen from a nearby overpass," Victoria Police said in a statement. Police said officers are keen to speak to a truck driver who was seen carrying a blue or green shipping container at the time.Investigations into the cause of the teenager's death are ongoing.
