Fans have been obsessed with Amazon Prime's From since the horror series first aired back in 2022, and UK fans don't have long to wait for the 'must-watch' fourth season to drop
From's is set to be released in the UK on Thursday, and those who have managed to binge the show's fourth season have been hailing it as a "must-watch"hit horror series, with the series returning to the platform on Thursday, several weeks after American viewers were able to binge the show.
The show first started airing back in 2022 and follows the residents of a bizarre town that doesn't allow anyone to escape once they've entered its borders. Making matters worse, a host of nightmarish creatures patrol the town at night.fourth season, Prime teased: "In Season Four, the closer the residents of town get to the answers they seek, the more terrifying their search becomes. Who is the Man in Yellow, and what does he want?
Will Jade and Tabitha’s revelation be the key to finally going home?
"How much longer can Boyd hold the town together, even as his body and mind are falling apart? And what role will the town’s most recent arrival play in the events to come? Season Four will open doors that some in town will end up wishing had remained closed.
"As with any long-running series, fans have been a bit divided on the latest season of the show, but most have been showering it with praise. One enthused: "From the very first episode, the show creates an atmosphere of pure dread that never lets up.
"What makes it so amazing is how it balances genuine, terrifying horror with a deep mystery that keeps you theorizing for days. The concept of a town you can't leave is chilling enough, but the creatures and the 'rules' of the world make it truly unique. The acting is top-tier , and every episode leaves you desperate for answers.
If you haven't started it yet, do yourself a favor and dive in—just make sure you're inside before sundown.
"A second added: "Turn off all the lights and crank up the volume. This series will send chills throughout your body. It's cleverly written with solid acting, but the flesh eating wanderers are creepy, spooky, and mesmerizing!
" However, one negative review read: "Pointless filler season, too slow and too bad," and a second complained: "Season 1 was peak simple concept with amazing horror, starting from season 3 it's just more and more questions with no answers and then each episode is ANOTHER question and guess what it's topped off with a cliffhanger and the cliffhanger will NOT be addressed in the next episode. "Meanwhile, Brian Tallerico said on Roger Ebert.com: "Despite feeling like the writers' room has as many ideas where all of this is going as the fictional Boyd, From often remains remarkably watchable through the lack of direction.
A friend once told me that the main reason he binged LOST was that every episode ended with someone saying, 'Look at that over there!
' and he had to know how that cliffhanger would be resolved. From has a very similar energy.
