One soldier has reportedly been left injured after the animals, believed to belong to the cavalry, began running around the capital. Footage shared online showed two of the horses darting through Aldwych, with one appearing to be covered in blood. Another was seen to have smashed into a taxi - The Mirror reports.
One man is reported to have fallen from a horse at the scene. An eyewitness described seeing a soldier lying in the street "screaming in pain" outside the Clermont Hotel on Buckingham Palace Road, Victoria.
