Mean Girls alum Lacey Chabert has officially been cast in Netflix's newest holiday romantic comedy movie titled, Hot Frosty.
, who’s best known for her iconic role as Gretchen Wieners in 2004’s Mean Girls, has officially been cast inChabert is set portray the role of a widow named Cathy, who finds herself falling in love with a snowman. Thevet is no stranger to the holiday romcom genre, as she has already appeared in over 30 Hallmark Christmas movies since 2010.
“Two years after losing her husband, Cathy magically brings a handsome snowman to life! Through his naïveté, the snowman helps Cathy to laugh, feel and love again, as the two fall for each other just in time for the holidays…and before he melts,” reads the officially logline.Hot Frosty hails from director Jerry Ciccoritti and writer Russell Hainline . Also joining the cast are Dustin Milligan , Craig Robinson , Joe Lo Truglio , Katy Mixon , Lauren Holly , and Chrishell Stause .
