The outrage from Celtic fans over Matt O'Riley's absence from the Denmark squad for Euro 2024 has only been matched by the clamour from Rangers fans to claim it as proof that he's not that good.

George McLeish reckons the way back to success is to buy domestic. He said: "What is it with Rangers looking at more foreign players/ The days of Laudrup, Albertz, Mols, Numan etc are gone. Rangers want to concentrate on getting a backbone of Scottish and British players in and forget all this foreign dross. The priority is to win the league, and it will not happen by bringing in foreign rubbish.
