Nottinghamshire Police received a string of complaints about adults and kids who were living in the property

A house in a Nottinghamshire town has been closed by police after a host of issues were reported by neighbours, including off-road bikes being ridden erratically. The property in Ruffs Drive, Hucknall was shut after a closure order was authorised on Wednesday, October 18.

Working alongside the district council, the force secured the closure order at Nottingham Magistrates' Court following complaints about the adults and children living at the semi-detached property. The order will last for three months.Any breach of the order carries a potential prison sentence of six months and/or a fine of up to £5,000. PC Sandeep Mann, of the Ashfield neighbourhood policing team, said it was good news for those living in the street.
