The price has come in for criticism
Complaints have been made about a 'poky' new build property on sale for nearly half-a-million pounds in Nottinghamshire. The four-bedroom detached house, on the Blacksmith’s Green development in Ruddington, is on the market with a guide price of £429,995.
One Twitter user said: “This would be like £350k in London, absolutely NOT worth half a million. Whoever valued that is ridiculous.”Other complaints included the so-described “small” windows, the alleged lack of pavements and the back garden which did not have grass in the picture on the online advert.
In response to the criticism, a Vistry Group spokesperson said: “Blacksmith’s Green has been incredibly popular, with most of the properties sold at the development within a year. “The fact we have been rated a five-star housebuilder is a reflection of the quality of our build and our exceptional customer service.”
