Hygrove Homes opened back in 2018 'offering convenience and good connections with affordable quality homes built to the highest standards'.
Residents living in a housing estate which still hasn't been completed five years after people moved in have called for action. Hygrove Homes opened in Morfa, Swansea, back in 2018 "offering convenience and good connections with affordable quality homes built to the highest standards".
Despite residents claiming they received no notification of the change in rules apart from the signs, the rules are being enforced from September 2. "We've got private parking down there, which I do think is a good idea there because we're based near the Swansea.com stadium, but they have updated terms now where if you park on a kerb, or even if it's on an uncompleted kerb, you will still get a £100 fine even if you have a parking pass.
"As a consequence of those complaints, Swansea Council wrote to Hygrove in August to confirm that it was committed to working with Hygrove to progress the adoption of the highways. Hygrove is ready, willing and able to complete the highway at short notice and trusts that the council will now take note of residents’ concerns and expedite adoption.
