Houston Police have filed charges against the parents of twin infants after their deaths on October 4, 2023.

There have been two counts of serious bodily injury to a child filed against Angelina Belinda Calderon, 21, and Fernando Vega, 21.have filed charges against the mother and father of baby twins in connection with their deaths on Oct. 4, 2023.

An autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences determined the infants suffered blunt force trauma. There was reportedly no visible signs of trauma to either child. According to Patricia Cantu, assistant chief with HPD, they received a call from the Houston Fire Department about two infants not breathing. They were reportedly in a crib when the family found them unresponsive.
