When it comes to getting familiarized on and off the field, Houston Texans' rookie Blake Fisher is looking forward to learning behind veterans Tytus Howard and Laremy Tunsil.
's top goal at rookie minicamp is to get accustomed to his surroundings. Fisher spent his first 48 hours in Houston trying to find his way amid unfamiliar territory after spending his entire life in Indiana.
But when it comes to his respective position, the chance to learn from established tackles Tytus Howard and Laremy Tunsil excites Fisher. Fisher believes there is a benefit to learning the game behind two esteemed veterans. He will have the chance to learn from Tunsil, who has been one of the league's best tackles since getting drafted by the Miami Dolphins in 2016.
Howard has established himself as a suitable right tackle. However, the 2023 injury-plagued season resulted in a down year for the Alabama State alumnus. A broken hand sustained during preseason limited Howard to seven games. He allowed one sack in 408 snaps until a knee injury ended his season in November.
