Brand activations, youth involvement and supporting events will be the key to getting North Texans to care about soccer ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
“I think we’re at the tipping point where Americans and Texans have begun caring about soccer. Mainstream sports media is catching up too and the sport is gaining momentum,” he said. “But I believe you’re going to see a lot of work in the next two years to promote it even more from companies involved in it and lots of others.
