'We're a day out,' says general manager Kenny Murray
Despite the impact of the pandemic and the cost of living crisis which has hit us all in the pocket, Cheshire Oaks has somehow found a way to thrive.
This is one of the key reasons why people continue to descend on the outlet - with queues often backed up on the M53 as weekend visitors look forward to their day out. Just this week, it was reported that Cheshire Oaks had launched its summer programme of activities - including the return of the big wheel, a new mini golf course and an outdoor cinema.
"It's a reflection of what we do. Where we stand out is the fact we offer up to 30 per cent off every day. In general, whether it's cost of living or we fall into a recession, people are very considered with their spend. They want to achieve value for money and a designer outlet offers that. "The key thing is the breadth of offer. We have high street brands, designer brands and it's the same with the food - we have sit down casual, grab and go, and fast food. It's where we perform well in the market. We have something for everyone.
