When a major disaster hits Texas, H-E-B is one of the first on the scene. Most recently, H-E-B brought supplies to the Texas Panhandle when deadly wildfires des

H-E-B hosted a readiness exercise in North Austin to make sure its disaster relief team knows what to do and the most efficient way to do it during a crisis. When the fleet rolls in, it comes with a pharmacy stocked with more than 500 medications and a business center where people can cash checks and pay bills. “In a disaster like this, when the access is not there, then we make that access possible. We can fill pretty much any medication that you need,” said H-E-B pharmacist Thomas Guerra.
