Manchester City have a growing injury list, with four key players doubtful for the Premier League showdown with Arsenal on Sunday.

The news on Kyle Walker's injury took a negative turn on Sunday night as the right-back returned to Manchester City for treatment on his hamstring problem.

The City captain will now undergo treatment to determine whether he can be fit to face Arsenal on Sunday in a title-defining clash. He joins Ederson, Kevin De Bruyne and Jack Grealish in the treatment room.ALSO READ: City's absurd 68-hour fixture nightmare and how schedule compares to Arsenal and Liverpool

Then there is Grealish, who is in the middle of a personalised ten-day training programme after returning to the bench against Newcastle before the break. He was not included in the England squad despite returning to City training and will hope to be fit for the Gunners clash. If Walker is not ready, the plan B is also straightforward. Manu Akanji has been a regular in recent games, playing across the back four, and he has experience filling in at right-back. Akanji allows John Stones to push into midfield as he can do so effectively, with Stones also able to invert from right-back to let Akanji play in the centre. It's the tactic that won City the Champions League last season, so Guardiola will have no issue in reprising that against Arsenal.
