Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres is the name on the lips of every Manchester United supporter currently after his brilliant display in the victory over Manchester City in the Champions League.

He will be a realist though and simply put, there are not many No.9s commanding the same goalscoring threat as Gyokeres. Amorim may well have to accept that returning for the Swede is inevitable. United will likely use the accounting method of amoritisation to avoid Financial Fair Play punishments. This would allow the £83m fee to be spread over the length of the player's contract.
