Manchester United could be faced with some big calls as they seek to iron out their 25-man squad for the Premier League season.

For the 2023/24 season, this applies to all players born on or after 1 January 2002.
New signing Andre Onana has taken one of the club’s non-homegrown spots, replacing David De Gea. He is joined on the list by Facundo Pellistri, who was born just 12 days before the 1 January 2002 cut-off point for under-21 players. Meanwhile, despite his big-money move, 20-year-old Rasmus Hojlund would still qualify for the under-21 list.
