Currently, most people convicted of terror acts receive less than a 10-year sentence and most will not serve all of it in jail.Source: Crown Prosecution Service The prime minister sought to change prison sentences for those convicted of"serious terror offences" after it emerged that the London Bridge attacker,Part of the reason was because a number of changes had been made to the rules around prisoners' release dates.
