Scotland coach Shane Burger tells Richard Edwards that what his World Cup minnows 'lack in budget, we certainly don’t lack in mentality, drive and work ethic'
As he sat sipping a quiet celebratory beer at the Bellerive Oval, Burger insisted that his side had merely done what was expected of them.
“It’s a very unfair playing field when it comes to budgets but what we lack in budget we certainly don’t lack in mentality, drive and work ethic. We’ve got 12 full-time contracted players but even the top-paid contract within that 12 would be lower than the lowest paid contract in county cricket.
