Royal expert Ingrid Seward reveals Princess Anne nearly \u2018drove her car into a ditch\u2019 after hearing the shocking news that Prince Edward had quit the marines.
Channel 5 documentary “Royal Scandals”, which aired earlier this month, heard from royal author Ingrid Seward, who was writing a biography of Prince Edward at the time.Ms Seward said: ”Prince Edward was home for the weekend and he told his family that he was going to quit the Marines.She continued: “He said ‘Oh ok, I’ll stay.’“And he drove back to his base camp the next morning and handed in his resignation.
