Sporting CP manager Ruben Amorim is Man United's number one choice to replace Erik ten Hag and his arrival at Old Trafford is expected soon.
Sporting's squad were, reportedly, left bemused when Ruben Amorim addressed Manchester United's interest in him - as the wait for his expected appointment continues.
On Tuesday, Sporting confirmed that United were willing to pay £8.3m to compensate for Amorim's services which now leaves the decision firmly in the hands of the 39-year-old.
