I’ve been writing about video games, television and movies for Forbes for over 10 years, and you may have seen my reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic. I cover all manner of console and PC games, but if it’s about looting or shooting, I’m definitely there. If I’m watching something, it’s usually science fiction, horror or superheroic.

It’s been well-documented that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s first season starring the Joker has gone poorly, with a grindy unlock process, terrible modifiers and a void of new content., Rocksteady listed a number of changes coming to the game and the season, hopefully as soon as this week, meant to address some of the most discussed issues. So, credit where it’s due, we can go through them to see what’s changing, as it’s mostly good stuff, even if many issues are not addressed.

Enemies are no longer immune to Venom Frenzy, and Crazed enemies instead take 50% less damage instead of being immune to Craze. That at least makes using last season’s Bane sets everyone farmed a bit more tolerable instead of having them be entirely useless. Master items will have a higher drop chance at higher Mastery Levels. But no specifics on what “higher” means.
