There was not a single day of national mourning, flags at Government buildings were at half-mast on the day of the Queen’s funeral but Barbadians on the whole continued as normal. King Charles, then Prince of Wales, with Barbados President, Sandra Mason, and Prime Minister, Mia Mottley, at the presidential inauguration ceremony in Barbados Mr Gill, who is leading the charge towards republicanism in Grenada, said he was not aware of any plans for coronation celebrations or protests there.
