MEGHAN MARKLE took a swipe at the 'status quo' in a speech this week, which led to speculation the remark could have been aimed at the Royal Family's way of life - yet, resurfaced reports show how the Firm really reacted when she 'challenged the status quo' behind Palace walls.
made her first significant appearance this week when she was the keynote speaker for a United Nations event called Girl Up. She said: “The status quo is easy to excuse and hard to break, but it will pull tightest right before snapping.” The Royal Family has a reputation for sticking to protocol and tradition and Meghan has previously spoken out against the institution’s way of life including “the famous British stiff upper lip”.
