Carole retired around 14 years ago, after a career working in offices and teaching private electronic keyboard and organ lessons at her home. She enjoys walking, reading, listening to music and free audiobook downloads. “I try to keep some of my income aside for a rainy day fund or in case of an unexpected cost. I have a bit of a cushion but money is always on my mind. The dog recently had to go to the vet and that cost a lot. She is insured but you have to pay an excess,” she adds.
