However, after six years in the aerospace industry, a global pandemic, and a lay-off, I leaped into content creation full-time in 2020.

For creators and influencers who aspire to make their side-hustle into a full-time career someday, an emergency fund especially helpful as income may vary from month to month. Having a financial safety can help creators and influencers continue to create content and cover monthly costs even in slower quarters or seasons.

Monthly recurring expenses: rent or mortgage, groceries, gas, cell phone bills, car payment, student loan payments, car insurance, healthcare, etc.Savings goals: emergency fund, retirement funds, etc. But you might decide that your side hustle income is not enough to cover your monthly living expenses. So you may decide that you still need your day job and need to work on your side hustle for another six months or a year.
