Fans of the Nottingham based BBC drama Sherwood could get free tickets to an exclusive red carpet event ahead of the new series. A star-studded screening will take place at the Broadway Cinema in Nottingham, giving viewers a first look at the first episode of the second series of the show.
Meanwhile, a newly appointed Sheriff of Nottingham is passionately fighting against a proposed new mine for the area. This will bring the promise of much needed jobs and prosperity but also unwelcome reminders of the legacy that has mired the community for so long.Stars featured on the show include David Morrissey, Lesley Manville, Monica Dolan, and David Harewood.
