Battersea Dogs and Cats Home has provided a number of helpful tips to keep pets calm during fireworks 🎆🐾

The warning comes as thousands descend on London to watch theand communities across the country host displays to mark the start of 2023.

“While people may enjoy traditional celebrations, such as hosting parties or setting off fireworks, our pets may find these things worrying.”“If you’re heading out for a long time, it may be a good idea to have someone look after your pet for you whilst you are away”, she added.

The RSPCA said many animals find fireworks scary and owners will often see their pets struggling, either frozen with fear, bolting, rearing up or charging fences.Radio station Classic FM will be playing calming music on New Year’s Eve as part of its Pet Classics.
