Here's how to spring clean your wardrobe in 5 easy steps...
Step 1 - The separation: Stashing out of season pieces in your closet creates clutter and stops you seeing what you have to play with.Pack away anything Christmas related, including heavy chunky knits and other wintery items that don't match the new beautiful blue sky that is emerging.
Spray the inside of your wardrobe with a good moth repellent such as Natural AntiMoth Linen Spray with Natural Essential Oils, £21 .Alternatively make your own repellents by filling cotton jewellery bags with dry herbs such as mint or rosemary or soak cotton balls in scented oils like eucalyptus, cedar wood or lavender.Pack away your winter wardrobe; for delicate pieces use acid free tissue paper to wrap and fold them away.
If an item no longer fits physically or with your lifestyle but is particularly sentimental these should be stored away in a memory box. Take pictures of your outfits to help inspire you on those days when you feel like you have nothing to wear. This can be done by outfit or item type, depending on your personal taste and what will be easier for you when getting dressed.
