Karol G will be named Woman of the Year during the Billboard Latin Women in Music special on Sunday, June 9, 2024, on Telemundo. The special will honor female musicians, Billboard said, “who are proactively working for positive change, inclusion and gender parity in the music industry.”“In 2023, Karol became the first female artist to top the Billboard 200 with a Spanish-language album thanks to ‘Mañana Será Bonito.’ She also kicked off her history-making stadium tour in support of the record-breaking set that includes hits like ‘TQG’ with Shakira and ‘Provenza.
Other award winners include - Camila Cabello, Global Impact; Kali Uchis, Rising Star; Gloria Estefan, Legend; Ana Bárbara, Lifetime Achievement; Ángela Aguilar, Musical Dynasty; and Kany García, Spirit of Change.Gloria Estefan will receive the Legend Award during the Billboard Latin Women in Music special on June 9, 2024, on Telemundo.
