The PGA tour comes to Fort Worth, Texas, for the Charles Schwab Challenge just days after a dramatic major tournament that includedScheffler, who finished tied for eighth at the PGA Championship following his arrest prior to the second round on Friday, will be back in action in his hometown when the Charles Schwab Challenge begins on Thursday.
Scheffler, the reigning Masters champion, enters as this year's favorite in a field that also includes Collin Morikawa, Tony Finau, Max Homa and Dallas native and former tournament champion Jordan Spieth.The Charles Schwab Challenge is held at the Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas. It's been the site of the event for 78 years, making it the longest-running PGA Tour tournament at the same venue.
