If spoiling yourself is top of your agenda this Easter then the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, one of England’s leading heritage steam operations, has all that’s needed for you and the family.
You could sit back and watch some of the finest scenery in West Yorkshire drift by while drinking a toast with one of the country’s award-winning Gins. Or you can indulge yourself with one of the UK’s finest culinary traditions, Afternoon Tea. The Railway, whose five-mile route runs from the Aire Valley town Keighley up to the moorland village of Oxenhope, has re-introduced their highly successful ‘Gin Train’.
During the two-trip Gin Train experience each customer will be able to sample four different Gins with selected tonics and garnishes while being offered delicious canapes. Afternoon Teas will be available on some of the railway’s services on both Sunday, March 31, and Monday, April 1. You can enjoy your Tea in style as the railway is serving them on its immaculately restored Pullman and Dining Car carriages.
