Crowdfunder organiser Garry with the displays outside the Bus Station A crowdfunder is aiming to Fill the Frame and showcase the creative talent of Preston
A crowdfunder is aiming to Fill the Frame and showcase the creative talent of Preston artists.Using the city’s newly-installed display structures – a legacy of Lancashire Photography Festival – Preston artists will be able to display their artwork in a highly-visible, public outdoor exhibition.
Money raised will be spent on managing the call out for artists, and printing and installing the work. The project builds on the successful Art on the Streets of Preston Crowdfund Lancashire project in 2023, which successfully displayed the work of over 30 Preston artists on the former BHS hoardings in Fishergate.Crowdfunder organiser Garry Cook said: “Fill the Frame Preston aims to encourage art and creativity, and boost the confidence of local creatives.“The outdoor locations guarantee that people who do not usually see art get the chance to experience it.
