Head of the PGMOL Howard Webb is set to appear on TV on Tuesday night
Howard Webb is set to make his first public appearance since the Professional Game Match Officials Limited were forced to suspend David Coote. The Premier League referee has been suspended pending an investigation after a video was posted on social media that appears to show him using highly offensive language about former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp .
The 42-year-old then uses an offensive term to describe Klopp, and when asked why he felt that way, he says the German had 'a right pop at me when I reffed them against Burnley in lockdown' and had accused him of lying. Confirming the suspension, a PGMOL statement read: 'David Coote has been suspended with immediate effect pending a full investigation. 'PGMOL will be making no further comment until that process is complete.
