Houston police said a 7-year-old boy was standing on the sidewalk when he was shot once in the lower back.HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A child was transported to the hospital after being shot during a suspected drive-by shooting in southwest Houston Sunday afternoon, according toPolice said they were called to a possible road rage altercation between two vehicles just before 3 p.m. on Corporate Drive near the Westpark Tollway.
Witnesses told police the alleged shooter may be in a gold or grey 4-door sedan that was seen going southbound on Corporate Drive. The other vehicle was a blue truck with ladders on top and was seen going northbound on Corporate Drive. Police said they are unsure if the person in this vehicle was also shooting back. Houston Police say a 7 year old boy was shot in what appears to be a drive-by shooting near Langdon and Corporate Dr. The boy was standing on the area to the left when two vehicles drove by and gunshots were fired. The boy is stable in the ICU, per HPD.
