A huge cannabis farm has been found inside a former Lancashire bookmakers shop
A huge cannabis farm has been inside a building that formerly belonged to William Hill in Barnoldswick.
The raid took place as a result of information provided by members of the public. As a result, a large amount of drugs have been taken off the streets. Police say that this type of crime affects businesses and people in the area, as well as having a huge knock-on effect on issues like anti-social behaviour.
"This is a direct result of information being provided to Police by members of the public in Barnoldswick, for which we are truly grateful. We acted upon this information swiftly and have taken a large amount of illegal drugs out of this building and away from the streets.
