It could be 'quite some time' before Chelsea are able to get the best out of Mudryk
Huge Chelsea signing hasn’t ‘shown enough’ and it could be ‘some time before’ his best appearsOne journalist does not think expensive Chelsea signing Mykhaylo Mudryk has “shown enough” but he thinks “it could be quit some time before” his best is on show.
Only one man – British record signing Enzo Fernandez – cost more than Mudryk did from Shakhtar Donetsk. The Ukrainian winger’s fee will rise to around £88million with add-ons. In six games in European competition this season before heading to Stamford Bridge, the forward had scored three goals and assisted another two.
Chelsea haven’t seen the talent Mudryk showed for Shakhtar yet though. In six games in all competitions, he’s yet to have an impact going forwards, and he’s been dropped for the last two games.“It can’t be easy for him really. I don’t think he’s shown enough yet and I do think he will improve,”However, he feels Chelsea could be waiting a while before they are able to get the best out of the star.
