REMAIN MPs have two huge problems in their plans to table a vote of no confidence against Prime Minister Boris Johnson as the politicians can’t agree on a caretaker leader and whether they would hold a general election, according to political editor John Stephens.
The Scottish Nationalists and the Labour Party will meet Monday to discuss plans to oust Boris Johnson next week while he is at the Tory Party Conference in Manchester. But Mr Stephens rubbished the idea a no confidence vote will be tabled against Mr Johnson next week as he said, “I’ll believe that when I see it”. He went on to highlight the Remain MPs do not agree on their Government’s leader or positions which could see Mr Johnson staying on as leader.
