The Warehouse Project and Parklife boss announced he would be footing the entire bill for all customers

There were mammoth queues outside the Thirsty Korean restaurant in Chorlton on Sunday after Sacha Lord offered to pay for everyone's meal.

A number of people took to social media site Twitter showing themselves queuing up along Manchester Road. It comes after the Night time Economy Advisor for Manchester wrote online: "This Sunday. Free meals and drinks on me. No catch," and urged people to support local independent food and drink businesses.

"I’m delighted Manchester turned out to support the Thirsty Korean in Chorlton today. Eunji and her team are incredibly lovely and I know this will mean a lot. After Reading the article last year about her being bullied, I’d say today is Thirsty Korean 1…Bully 0. She won.”
