AFL: Gold Coast star Mac Andre could be offered a deal worth $12 million over eight years, by a Victorian club, according to Tom Morris
Mac Andrew has extended his stay at the Gold Coast after agreeing to what is reportedly the richest deal in AFL history.
Andrew was already contracted until the end of 2025, so this new deal will only really kick in at the start of the 2026 season and should he hit a games clause, it will then trigger another four seasons according to Morris. Andrew decided to stay put at the Gold Coast despite Hawthorn showing interest, according to AFL Media’s Callum Twomey.
“I’m really keen to be a part of the first team that wins a premiership on the Coast. To be the first to do that would be pretty special and something I really want to be a part of.
