The taco festival will take place over the weekend and feature some of Manchester's best street food traders
Though it's only been a few weeks since the Easter break, we're now gearing up for the first of two May bank holidays. The first takes place this Monday, May 6 and there's a host of events and activities taking place across Greater Manchester.
The Manchester street food market at the Red Bank Project near Cheetham Hill will be hosting the festival on Sunday, 5 May and Monday, 6 May with some of their favourite street food traders serve up a range of taco dishes.Grub is located on Red Bank near Cheetham Hill, and is home to a wealth of independent food retailers and boasts a beer garden, bars, weekly street food markets and its own cinema and performance space.
In terms of what's on offer food wise, there’ll be plant-based Mexican inspired tacos and burritos courtesy of Nina's Tacos, fusion dishes from veggie pros Wholesome Junkies including their katsu phish and chips. They'll be joined by Noble's Kitchen serving up some Cinco de Mayo specials with pulled pork and beef brisket tacos.
