Hugh Grant had high praise of Unfrosted co-star Melissa McCarthy and believes she is the queen of improvisation.
Jerry Seinfeld’s directorial debut Unfrosted is now streaming on Netflix and features a who’s who of comedians and actors, including Jim Gaffigan, Amy Schumer, Bill Burr, and Hugh Grant. According to Grant, co-star Melissa McCarthy deserves particular credit for her improvisational comedy skills.
“That might have been a highlight because I regard her as the queen of improvisation. I’ve always thought I was rather good, but I’m nothing compared to her,” said Grant to“We did a lot of that particular scene — back and forth, back and forth, back and forth — we could have cut together a whole film of that. But is so good, and she’s generous. I remember one time, I couldn’t think of my next line, and she gave it to me. She’s good.“Michigan, 1963.
