I never thought anything would be able to match the salon quality of a curly blow for bounce and shine. Contains affiliate links.

As a non-Scouser living in Liverpool, there are countless things I have fallen in love with about this city over the last decade - and one of them is the unquestioned supremacy of the curly blow when it comes to hair styling. Before moving to Liverpool, I would get ready for a night out or a nice meal by blow drying and wanding my hair, creating a lot of heat damage in the process.

That's where the Dyson Air Wrap comes in - it offers a salon-worthy blow-dry at home, using a range of different attachments to achieve the desired style, from sleek, straight hair to beachy waves. The price tag on the Air Wrap did initially put me off - before investing in this bit of kit, I'd owned the same Babyliss hairdryer since I was in high school, and I didn't think any beauty item could be worth the price tag.

Inside the presentation case, my friend had also included a £4 spray that she uses every time she dries her hair, and it was an absolute gamechanger. One of my main concerns about the Air Wrap was that it wouldn't hold a curl with the same reliability as a wanded style. I've got quite thin hair naturally, which means styles can drop out of my hair really quickly.

After a few more trial runs, I decided to buy my own Air Wrap and I can honestly say it's worth every penny of the intimidating price tag, which isn't something I ever thought I'd be able to say. It consistently gives me beautiful curls and my hair looks like it's been done in the salon every single time. People have even stopped me when I've been out and about to comment on how healthy my hair looks when I've used the Dyson.
