HUMZA Yousaf has reiterated the Scottish Governments offer to mediate talks between the UK Government and junior doctors and consultants after a joint strike was announced for the first time in the history of the health service.
The First Minister posted on X, formally known as Twitter, in reaction to the new action announcement: “In Scotland we have avoided a single day of strikes in our NHS because we have offered our hardworking NHS staff a fair pay uplift. Consultants had already announced plans to walk out for 48 hours from September 19, and will be joined by their junior colleagues on September 20.
