Former First Minister Humza Yousaf has designed a new tartan to commemorate 60 years since his grandparents emigrated from Pakistan to Scotland. The green and blue tartan is available for anyone to wear, not just members of the Yousaf family.

Humza Yousaf has registered a new tartan to commemorate 60th anniversary of his family arriving in Scotland .

He said: "It is 60 years since my paternal grandparents Muhammad and Anwari Yousaf made the journey from a small city in the south of Pakistan’s Punjab, Mian Channu, to our home here in Scotland. “Although we are four generations of Yousafs, this tartan is not there to be just enjoyed by the Yousaf clan but there for anybody who wants to wear it, so I hope you like it as much as I do.”
