'I think Joe deserves to be remembered' said a fellow campaigner
A petition has been launched to name a street in Deans South after the late Joe Baxter who died last month.
"Joe Baxter's journey, from RAF pilot to Senior Contract Accountant to travelling Evangelist, is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of standing up for what is right." Kerry told the Local Democracy Reporting Service: "Joe deserves this. He was part of the Deans South community for over 50 years.Many who have signed the petition have left comments in tribute to Joe. One said: "A fitting tribute for a fierce campaigner for the rights of his local community".
