Around 600 fans packed into the Meadow Lane venue
Hundreds of England fans gathered at one of Nottingham's biggest fanzones to watch the dramatic Euro 2024 match against Slovakia. Around 600 fans packed into the Trent Navigation Inn, on Meadow Lane,
Before the game, George Wood, 34, said:"I'm excited. It will be a tense game but I think we could beat them. We chose Trent Navigation because we came here for the first game and we won it and then we went to other places for the other games and we didn't win, so we're back here now."England fan Ellie Molloson added:"We chose Trent Navigation for the vibes, it's our first time here for an England game but we've been here before.
Another England fan, Eva, said:"I'm very excited about the game. I've been out to other venues during the Euros but my friend chose this one so hopefully it's going to be good." Proudly wearing her country's flag, Katarina said:"I'm really excited about tonight. We came here because they're supposed to have the best screen. I hope we win, it would be great pride for my country.
